The mission of the Health Regulation and Licensing Administration is to administer all District, Federal laws and regulations governing the licensing certification and registration of the health professionals, health care and human services facilities and establishments to ensure the protection of the health and safety of vulnerable children and adults who, as customers and citizens of the District of Columbia, receive services and/or medical care within these facilities and establishments and by licensed professionals.
